Things to Watch For:
- Case Western Reserve has made one of the bigger one-year turnarounds in recent PAC history this season. After winning three games (3-7) in 2014, the Spartans currently sit at 3-1 overall and 3-0 in PAC play. Their victories have been of the quality variety, including an impressive 59-20 romp over Bethany this past Saturday. The Spartans' only loss was a 31-30 edging by Chicago, which is ranked 24th in the country by D3Football.com.
 - Case comes into Saturday as the number-two ranked scoring offense (44.8 points per game) and defense (17.8 ppg) in the PAC. The Spartans trail only 11th-ranked Thomas More in both categories. After five games, Waynesburg ranks fifth in both scoring offense (25.8 ppg) and defense (27.4 ppg).
 - If the Yellow Jackets are looking for a weakness to exploit against the Spartans, they may want to try going to the air early and often. Case has allowed the fourth most passing yards per game in the PAC (242.8 ypg) and eight touchdowns through the air.
 - Both the Jackets and Spartans know what they are doing on special teams. Case is ranked first in the PAC in kickoff return average (23.1 yards per return) and fourth in punt return average (9.9 ypr), while Waynesburg holds down the number-three (21.8 ypr) and number-three (12.9 ypr) spots in those respective categories.
 - Case has shown an ability to lock down its defense on fourth down. The Spartans have allowed just one successful conversion on nine attempts in 2015.
 - Saturday's opponents are two of the top teams in the PAC in terms of turnover margin. Case Western Reserve sits at the top of the rankings with a plus-six mark over four games, while Waynesburg ranks third with a plus-four.
 - Probably the largest statistical discrepancy between Waynesburg and Case Western Reserve has to deal with their defensive showings inside the opposing 20-yard-line. The Jackets have allowed the opposition to score on all 13 of its trips inside the red zone (nine touchdowns, four field goals). The Spartans, on the other hand, have given up points on nine (eight touchdowns, one field goal)-of-16 opportunities.
 - Last year's meeting between Waynesburg and Case Western Reserve, the first-ever between the two programs, was contested as the Yellow Jackets' homecoming game. This season's game will be played in front of the Spartans' homecoming crowd.
