Box Score 3 TITUSVILLE, Fla. (March 12) – The Waynesburg University softball team had a very busy day on the diamond on Thursday at the Cocoa Expo Spring Games. The Yellow Jackets played a combined three games against two teams and posted an 0-3 record.
Waynesburg (1-8) dropped a 3-0 decision to Waldorf (5-10) and were swept by Saint Mary-Of-The-Woods College (8-1) by the finals of 9-1 and 4-1.
The day opened with the Jackets playing their doubleheader with Saint Mary-Of-The-Woods. Sophomore
Demi Lewin put together a very productive day at the plate, going a combined four-for-seven with two doubles. Sophomore Ashley DeMarco belted her first collegiate homerun to drive in Waynesburg's only run of the opener. Junior
Cameron Grimes took the loss in the circle.

Katey Potopenko went two-for-three in game two. Senior
Haley Payne was the pitcher of record in the late contest.
Waynesburg ended its day with a single contest against Waldorf. Grimes doubled to highlight the offensive effort, while sophomore
Lyndi Gareis took the pitching loss.
The Jackets will play one more game in Florida before heading home on Friday. Waynesburg will play the second half of its doubleheader with Waldorf on Friday, March 13, at 9 a.m.
