Match Results WAYNESBURG, Pa. (April 1) – The Waynesburg University men's tennis team picked up one of its biggest victories of the season on Wednesday, when it hosted Saint Vincent College for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup. The Yellow Jackets came away with a solid 7-2 win against the Bearcats that kept them undefeated in conference play.
The victory avenged a 7-2 loss road loss at the hands of SVC (2-3, 1-2) in 2014. It also snapped a six-match losing streak to the Bearcats.
The Yellow Jackets (4-3, 3-0) swept all three of the doubles matches, which included senior Phillip Littlejohn and freshman
Andrew Brunette moving to 4-0 on the season as a tandem following their latest victory (8-2) at the number-two spot. Senior

Timothy Harris teamed up for an 8-4 win at first doubles, while the team of senior
Colin Phillips and freshman
Adam McKnight completed the sweep with an 8-4 triumph at the third spot.
Waynesburg dropped the number-one singles match, but got back on the winning track as Harris won in straight sets 6-0, 6-3 at the number-two flight. Littlejohn remained undefeated on the season by winning in straight sets 6-2, 6-4 at third singles. While SVC scored a victory at the number-four spot, the Jackets added two more solo wins courtesy of Philips at fifth singles (6-1, 6-1) and McKnight at sixth singles (6-0, 6-1).
The Yellow Jackets return to action on Thursday when they conference foe Washington & Jefferson College. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m.
