The Yellow Jackets (5-3, 4-0) got the day going by sweeping through the day's doubles contests. Senior
Isaiah Cochran and
Timothy Harris teamed up for an 8-2 win at the number-one spot, before senior
Philip Littlejohn and freshman
Andrew Brunette followed with an 8-0 triumph at second doubles. The Jackets completed the sweep when senior
Colin Phillips and freshman
Adam McKnight won 8-1 at third doubles.
After Thiel (0-5, 0-3) picked up its lone victory at first singles, Harris, Littlejohn, Brunette, Phillips and McKnight all posted straight-set wins at flights two through six, respectively.
Waynesburg will play its fifth-straight home match on Wednesday, April 8, when it hosts Muskingum for a non-PAC match. Start time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
