Things to Watch For:
- Saturday's Waynesburg vs. Saint Vincent matchup will be played as the 2015 PAC Kickoff Classic.
"The 3rd Annual PAC Kickoff Classic celebrates the opening of another year of conference football action, while recognizing the principles and mission that have guided our league for over six decades of academic and athletic excellence. We are very grateful to Saint Vincent and Waynesburg for agreeing to be our spotlight game to open 2015, and expect a great matchup between these two talented programs," said PAC Commissioner
Joe Onderko.Â
Â
- A victory over Saint Vincent would improve Rick Shepas' record as Yellow Jacket head coach to 66-40. It would allow him to pass Frank N. Wolf (65-63) as Waynesburg's all-time winningest head football coach.
 - Waynesburg senior running back Jerry Lawman enters week two of the season as the PAC leader in touchdowns scored after finding the end zone three times at Muskingum. His 113 yards on the ground was the third-highest total amongst conference ball carriers.
 - Saint Vincent senior defensive back Devin Anderson and Waynesburg senior linebacker Jonathan Carlier ranked sixth and eighth, respectively, in total tackles after both teams' season-opening contests. Anderson piled up 10 total stops, tops amongst conference defensive backs, while Carlier racked up nine hits.
 - Jacket sophomore safety Christian Breisinger and the Bearcat duo of senior Renny Larue-Holloman and junior Darrell Burrell each notched two passes defended. Breisinger also intercepted his first pass as a collegiate player.
 - The top two quarterbacks on Saint Vincent's depth chart, senior Evan Shimensky and sophomore Tyler Donahue, are former Division I athletes. Shimensky spent three years at Kent State as a quarterback and wide receiver, before transferring to Mount Union and eventually Saint Vincent. Donahue spent one year as a defensive back at FCS member Robert Morris University.
 - Waynesburg's five touchdowns were the third-most scored by a PAC school in week one. Saint Vincent was one of two conference schools (Bethany) to not find the end zone last week. However, both SVC and Bethany faced off with top-10 ranked powerhouses from the Ohio Athletic Conference.
Â
- The flags were flying in Saint Vincent's matchup with John Carroll. While the Bearcats were penalized eight times for 71 yards, JCU committed an amazing 15 penalties for 179 yards. Waynesburg was flagged just three times for 25 yards against Muskingum.
Â
- Waynesburg and Saint Vincent are ranked one-two in turnover margin. The Jackets boast a plus-four mark, while the Bearcats are a plus-two.
