The Jackets (0-1) got their first win of the day at second doubles. Freshman Joshua Denham teamed up with sophomore
Andrew Brunette to pick up an 8-6 victory.
Waynesburg added a pair of singles triumphs to its day, which came at the number-two and number-five slots. Freshman Jonah Cooper picked up a 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (15-13) triumph at second singles, before sophomore
Adam McKnight won in straight sets (7-5, 6-3) for the Jackets' final win of the day.
The Jackets return to the court on Thursday, Sept. 24, when they compete in a tournament hosted by Washington & Jefferson. Start time is scheduled for 10 a.m.
