FROSTBURG, Md. (Oct. 5) – The Waynesburg University men's tennis team traveled to the state of Maryland for a Wednesday match with Frostburg State. Several close matches going FSU's way played a major role in the Yellow Jackets falling 8-1.

Jordan Pastoria claimed victory for Waynesburg (1-2) at fifth singles, doing so in straight sets (6-3, 6-2). Sophomore
Jonah Cooper and junior
Adam McKnight both suffered three-set losses in singles competition.

Cooper and sophomore
Josh Denham came up just short of victory in their match at first doubles, which they dropped by an 8-6 final score.

The Jackets are not scheduled to return to the courts until their spring season, which gets started in February.
