GREENSBURG, Pa. (Sept. 15) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team hit the road on Thursday for a game at Pitt Greensburg. The Yellow Jackets put together their best offensive output of the season in a 3-1 win over the Bobcats.
UPG (0-5) opened the scoring during the 19
th minute of play to grab a 1-0 advantage. Waynesburg (2-3) responded by scoring the final three goals of the evening. The Jackets evened the score at 1-1 when sophomore

Justin Buberl and found the back of the net just under 24 minutes into the contest.
The visiting team grabbed its first lead of the night thanks to an own goal during the 38
th minute of action. Buberl put the finishing touches on the win just before the end of the contest when he notched his first collegiate goal during the 89
th minute of play. It was also Buberl's first multi-point effort with the Jackets.
Sophomore keeper
James Snyder recorded his second victory of the year by stopping four-of-five shots on net. The two teams combined for 31 shots in the game, including 17 taken by the road squad. Waynesburg held a major advantage in corner kicks (10-to-three).
The Jackets are back in action on Saturday, Sept. 17, when they travel to Capital. Start time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
