CANONSBURG, Pa. (Sept. 20) – The Waynesburg University men's golf team traveled north up I-79 to its home course of Southpointe Club for a dual match with Thiel. The Yellow Jackets fell to the Tomcats by the final score of 376-459.
 
The Jackets (0-1) were led by Alex Orlandi, who carded a team-best 94 on the Par-72 course. Waynesburg scores were also recorded by R.J. Leisie, Tyler Windsheimer and Justin Smith.
 
The Waynesburg men are back in action on Monday, Sept. 26, at the Westminster Fall Invitational. Tee time is scheduled for 12 p.m.
