ALTOONA, Pa. (Feb. 10) – The Waynesburg University men's tennis team opened its spring season on Friday evening with a road match at Mt. Aloysius. The Yellow Jackets fell 7-2 to the Mounties.
 
The Yellow Jackets (1-3) were led by sophomore Jonah Cooper who went 2-0 on the day. Cooper scored a 6-2, 6-2 win at first singles after teaming up with junior Adam McKnight at first doubles. The pair defeated the opposition from Mt. Aloysius (1-3) 8-4.
 
Waynesburg is back in action on Friday, Feb. 17, when it makes a road trip to Pitt Greensburg. Start time is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
