Box Score WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Sept. 17) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team hosted Muskingum for a Saturday night game at John F. Wiley Stadium. The Yellow Jackets and Muskies tangled until overtime, when the visitors were able to score the game winner in a 2-1 contest.
After neither team was able to find the net in the first half, Muskingum (2-4-1) opened the scoring in the 51
st minute of play. The road squad held its slim advantage until just over 10 minutes remaining in the contest, when sophomore

Tyler Sisler and tied the game at 1-1 in the 79
th minute.
After a scoreless final 10-plus minutes, the match went into overtime, where the Jackets nearly completed the comeback. Unfortunately, a Sisler shot caromed off the cross bar, leaving the game tied at 1-1. Muskingum didn't miss on its next try, which split the pipes just 25 seconds later.
Freshman
Adam Dolan made his first collegiate start in goal and played the entirety of the contest. He stopped three-of-five shots put on net by Muskingum.
Waynesburg returns to the pitch on Tuesday, Sept. 19, when it hosts Pitt Greensburg. Start time is scheduled for 8 p.m.
