WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Sept. 23) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team faced a tall task on Saturday when it hosted Transylvania, which came into the day ranked number 21 in the Division III ranks. The Yellow Jackets fell 4-0 to the Pioneers.
Transylvania (7-0) opened the scoring in the 24
th minute and doubled its advantage before halftime with a goal in the 34
th minute. The Pioneers tacked on their final two scores in the 84
th and 86
th minutes, respectively.

James Snyder was obviously busy on the afternoon. He piled up 12 saves in the setback.
The Jackets hit the turf at John F. Wiley Stadium on Monday for a showdown with Shenandoah. Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
