WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Sept. 29) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team scored early and often in its Presidents' Athletic Conference opener against Saint Vincent on Saturday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets took the match by a 6-0 final score.

Matt Hlasnick broke the ice as he scored from 15 yards out for his first goal of the season. Sophomore forward
Daniel Hott headed in a cross from sophomore
Jeb Brady for the second goal of the game and his fourth of the year. At the half, Waynesburg led Saint Vincent (1-9, 0-1) 2-0.
The Jackets took firm control of the game up as senior forward
Tyler Sisler buried one from 25 yards out for his fourth goal on the season. In the 74th minute, freshman forward
Thomas Robinson scored his first collegiate goal from 15 yards out. Chaney followed with his first collegiate goal just five minutes later. Robinson capped off the scoring with his second of the match in the 88th minute.
Waynesburg sophomore goalkeeper
Adam Dolan stopped all four Saint Vincent shots on goal for his fourth win of the season and his first shutout of the year. The Yellow Jackets totaled 21 shots while 13 ended up on goal. Waynesburg also had 11 corner kicks.
Waynesburg continues its PAC schedule on the road as it faces the Westminster Titans on Wednesday, October 3. Start time is slated for 5 p.m.
