WAYNESBURG, Pennsylvania (Sept. 21) The Yellow Jacket men's soccer team faced off with Baldwin Wallace on Saturday evening in a non-conference matchup. Waynesburg came up on the short end of a 5-0 score against the visiting Yellow JAcckets.  
 
Waynesburg (2-6) dealt with a consistent offensive attack from Baldwin Wallace (5-3) which recorded eight shots in the first half and nine in the second half.
 
The visiting Yellow Jackets opened up the contest in the second minute of the game with goal in the back-left corner of the net. Baldwin Wallace doubled its advantage in the nineteenth minute and made the score 3-0 before halftime. The visitors added two goals in the second half at the 81^st and 87^th minutes.
 
Senior Midfielder Justin Buberl (Westminster, Md. / Westminster) paced the Yellow Jackets in shots (four) two of which were on goal. Junior goalkeeper Adam Dolan (McDonald, Pa. / West Allegheny) played the first half, allowing three goals and making two saves. Freshman goalie Matthew Hilarzewski (Crafton, Pa. / Carlynton) finished out the evening in net, allowing two goals and racking up five saves.
 
Waynesburg is back in action this Tuesday, Sept. 24, when it hosts Pitt Greensburg at John F. Wiley Stadium. Start time is scheduled for 8 p.m.
