GROVE CITY, Pa. (March 13) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team opened its 2020-21 season with a road trip to perennial Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) powerhouse Grove City. After the two teams battled through a scoreless first half, the Wolverines tallied a pair of goals in the second to notch a 2-0 win over the Yellow Jackets.
 
Senior goalkeeper Adam Dolan (McDonald, Pa. / West Allegheny) was solid over 90 minutes in the box. The veteran turned away eight-of-10 attempts put on net by Grove City (1-0, 1-0). Freshmen Logan Gonzalez and Aaron Zawislak both had shots on goal for Waynesburg (0-1, 0-1).
 
The Wolverines notched the eventual game-winning goal midway through the 63^rd minute and added an insurance tally in the 83^rd.
