ELWOOD CITY, Pa (Sept 23) The Waynesburg University women's golf team traveled to the Connoquenessing Country Club for a Thursday dual match with Geneva. The Yellow Jackets and Golden Tornadoes battled, but the host team went on to win 361-472.Â
Waynesburg was led by Sophomore Avery Robinson (Ravenna, Ohio / Ravenna), who posted a team-low score of 108. Freshman Audrey Rose Abatti (Holtville, Calif. / Holtville) and senior Patience Yobp both posted scores of 115 for the afternoon.Â
Sophomore Marley Wolf (Ellwood City, Pa. / Riverside) completed Waynesburg's scoring four with a 134.
Waynesburg is scheduled to be back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 28, when it competes in the Saint Vincent College Invitational at Latrobe Country Club in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.Â
