WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Sept. 8) – The Waynesburg University women's golf team hosted Geneva and Bethany for Tuesday's Jacket Tri-Valley Classic at the Greene County Country Club. Waynesburg competed as individuals at the event.
 
Sophomore Allison Wolling (Bethel Park, Pa. / Bethel Park) finished third on the individual standings with a 95. She was joined on the course by sophomore Autumn Bartos (Uniontown, Pa. / Geibel Catholic), who carded a 134.
 
Bethany took home the team title with a four-woman score of 429, while Geneva tallied a 498. Individual medalist honors went to Geneva's Maddie Sharek, who tallied an 83.
 
Waynesburg is back in action on Saturday, Sept. 12, at the Thiel Invitational. Tee time from Avalon at Buhl in Sharon, Pa., is scheduled for 1 p.m.
