GREENVILLE, Pa. (Jan. 24) – Sophomore
Michaela Rose (Sandy Lake, Pa. / Lakeview) enjoyed a successful day on the track at Saturday's Pioneer Invitational, which was hosted by Marietta. For her efforts, Rose was named the newest Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
Rose registered a third-place finish in the 200 with a time of 27.42 seconds and fourth-place finish in the 55 with a time of 7.58 at the meet. Both times established new school records and were the best efforts by a NCAA Division III competitor in those respective events. Rose's time in the 200 tops the league's performance list, while her 60 converted time (8.17) is number two in the PAC.
