Box Score LANCASTER, Pa. (Oct. 21) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team traveled to Lancaster Bible College on Saturday for its final non-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action of 2023. The Yellow Jackets led at halftime, but the Chargers responded with four second-half goals to claim a 4-1 victory.
 
The two teams played through more than 43 minutes of scoreless soccer, before senior Alexander White (Bluefield, Va. / Graham) was awarded a penalty kick, which he cashed in to put his team up 1-0, which was also the score at the break.
 
Unfortunately, the final 45 minutes of the game belonged to Lancaster Bible (7-8-2, 5-2-0), which tied the game in the 67^th minute and added the eventual game winner just 1:28 later. The Chargers posted insurance goals in the 77^th and 81^st minutes.
 
Junior Michael Francus (Bethel Park, Pa. / Bethel Park) started and played 90 minutes in goal. Francus tallied six saves in his latest complete game effort.
 
Waynesburg wraps up the regular season on Wednesday, Oct. 25, when it travels to PAC-leading Geneva. Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
