NEWVILLE, Pa. (Oct. 7) – A trio of Yellow Jackets represented Waynesburg university at Saturday's Dickinson Pre-National Meet. The three runners competed in what was the largest, most talented field on Waynesburg's 2023 schedule.
 
Senior Andrew Kasper (Orchard Park, N.Y. / Orchard Park) led Waynesburg with a time of 27:18.9. He was followed across the finish line by graduate student Quintin Weaver (Rimersburg, Pa. / Union), who completed the 8K course in 28:23.7. Freshman Lucas Means (Boise, Idaho / Boise) ran the course in 29:08.9.
 
The Jackets are back in action this upcoming weekend, when they head to Gettysburg to compete in the Aubrey Shenk Invitational.
