WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Sept. 27) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team hosted Saint Vincent on Wednesday evening for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup at John F. Wiley Stadium. The Yellow Jackets used a goal in the 76
th minute to pull out a 1-0 victory over the Bearcats.
Waynesburg (5-3, 2-1) and Saint Vincent (4-5-1, 1-1-1) played to a 0-0 halftime tie that featured six shots for the visitors and four for the host squad, with three of those attempts being put on goal. The contest remained scoreless until junior

Michael Francus (Bethel Park, Pa. / Bethel Park) and the Jacket defense did the rest to preserve the team's latest win. Francus made two saves to log his most recent shutout of the year.
Waynesburg held a 12-9 advantage in total shots and put seven of them on net, as opposed to two for the visitors.
The Jackets will try for their third-straight PAC win in a row on Saturday, when they host Thiel for senior day. Start time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
