NEW ORLEANS (July 16) – The Waynesburg University men's and women's track & field teams were named as All-Academic Teams by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday.<br /> <br /> To earn All-Academic Team status, a team must have a cumulative team grade-point average of at least 3.1 at the end of the academic year. Waynesburg's women owned a 3.55 cumulative GPA and the men finished with a 3.17 team GPA. <br /> <br /> The Jacket women collect their fifth-straight All-Academic Team designation in track & field and 13th since 2008. For Waynesburg's men, it is the fourth-consecutive team honor and the program's ninth since 2010. The 2024 announcement marks the fourth-straight year the Jackets have had both teams collect the academic distinction.<br /> <br /> Waynesburg was one of five institutions from the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) to have both of its track & field teams secure USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors.<br />
