NEW ORELANS (July 22) – Both Waynesburg University track & field teams were recognized for academic excellence by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Monday.

Both of the Yellow Jacket men and women were named as All-Academic Teams for the 2024-25 indoor and outdoor seasons. To earn All-Academic Team status, a squad must have a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.10 through the most recent semester.

Waynesburg's women recorded a 3.68 GPA while the men maintained a 3.18. The Jacket women collect the honor for the sixth-straight season and 14th time overall. The men receive All-Academic status for the fifth-straight year. 

Both Waynesburg track & field programs received All-Academic Team laurels for the fifth-consecutive year.
