WAYNESBURG, Pa. (May 6) – The Waynesburg University women's outdoor track & field team had two student-athletes earn all-conference honors for their performances at the 2025 Presidents' Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships at West Virginia University's Mylan Park last week.
All-PAC honors are awarded to athletes and relays who finish in the top three at their respective events at the conference championship meet. The Yellow Jackets had one conference champion and one third-place relay at PACs.
Junior
Grace Tanksley (Bedford, Ind. / Bedford North Lawrence) received All-PAC First Team honors as the PAC champion in the 10k. Tanksley was the second competitor to cross the finish line on a stormy Thursday evening in 39:25.94, the seventh-fastest mark in program history. Upon appeal, the top finish was disqualified for an equipment violation, making Tanksley Waynesburg's first PAC outdoor champion since 2022 and the program's fifth 10k gold medalist since 2016.
Sophomore
Natalie Double (Portersville, Pa. / Slippery Rock) placed third in the javelin with a distance of 37.79 meters to collect All-PAC Honorable Mention status. Double is ranked fourth in the javelin in the Mid-Atlantic Region and is the lone Jacket to appear on the national leaderboard at No. 50 in the javelin for her season-best effort (38.66 meters) at the Mountaineer Twilight.
Senior
Jenna Zawislak (Rochester, Pa. / Rochester) represented the Jackets on the PAC Sportsmanship Team.
Waynesburg placed eighth at the PAC Outdoor Championships.
