MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (May 10) – The Waynesburg University outdoor track & field teams had student-athletes competing at Baldwin-Wallace's Harrison Dillard Twilight and West Virginia's Last Chance on Friday and Saturday.
Quintin Weaver (Rimersburg, Pa. / Union) ran a season-best time in 800 at B-W on Friday evening. He posted a time of 1:54.98 to finish fourth in his heat and 18th overall in a field of 79 competitors. Weaver's mark ranks fifth in program history and top-25 in the Mid-Atlantic region this spring.
Rylie Baker (Weirton, W.Va. / Weir) notched the No. 2 hammer throw distance in program history with a mark of 33.73 meters, just three centimeters behind her record-setting effort in the event last week. Baker also logged her second-best discus of the season at 29.40 meters.
Natalie Double (Portersville, Pa. / Slippery Rock) finished first in the javelin at 38.07 meters, followed by
Megan Barry (North Huntington, Pa. / Norwin) in second at 34.82 meters.
Waynesburg wraps up its 2025 outdoor campaign at Mount Union's last chance meet on Wednesday and Thursday.
