Pittsburgh, Pa. (August 20) – The Waynesburg University football team's matchup against Geneva on Oct. 18 will be featured by CBS News Pittsburgh and KDKA+, as the CBS affiliate announced its 2025 Division III college football slate on Monday.
In addition to airing on KDKA+, the games will be simulcasted on KDKA.com and the CBS News Pittsburgh streaming service, which can be access for free on multiple platforms. The productions are managed by JRM Video Production for a third-straight year.
Waynesburg and Geneva are set to kick off in week seven at John F. Wiley Stadium at 1 p.m. Information and direct links to access the KDKA+ or simulcasted broadcast will be made available via that week's games notes and on social media.
Last fall, the Yellow Jackets were featured on KDKA+ in a wild 44-41 comeback win at Allegheny. Waynesburg rallied back from an eight-point deficit in the final 2:31 of regulation to win on a 32-yard field goal by
Drew Pinkerton (Fayetteville, Pa. / Chambersburg) with 15 seconds remaining.
Waynesburg was slated sixth in the PAC Preseason Poll and opens its season at John F. Wiley Stadium against No. 25 John Carroll on Sept. 6.
