BEREA, Ohio (September 13) - The Waynesburg University Men's soccer team recorded its second-straight shutout victory with a 1-0 triumph at Baldwin Wallace on Saturday night.

The win was the second-straight clean sheet for freshmen goalkeeper Deven Patel (Columbus, Ohio / St. Francis DeSales) and third-straight victory for Waynesburg (3-2). The win marked Waynesburg's first-ever victory over Baldwin Wallace (3-3-1) in the battle of the Yellow Jackets.

The second half was more of the same for both teams, as Baldwin Wallace outshot Waynesburg 10-1.

In the final 11 minutes of action, Waynesburg's defense and Patel shined. As Patel made a pair of saves and the Jacket back line notched a team save in the 86th minute. Patel made his fourth and final save in the 89th minute as Waynesburg escaped with the 1-0 win.
