THE HIGHEST OF HIGHS AND LOWEST OF LOWS
Hiram was one of the early-season surprises in the PAC, as it won its first four games for just the third time in program history. However, that red hot start has been followed by three lop-sided losses. A deeper look at the two streaks reveals a noticeable change in schedule difficulty. The combined record of those first four opponents entering Saturday is 1-25. The combined marks of the teams on its current skid sit at 14-7.
SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
Hiram made its impact on the PAC last year with its high flying passing attack. Senior quarterback Sean Tejeda has done nothing to change that perception in 2026. The veteran signal caller sits second in the league with 254.6 passing yards per game. He's currently tied for third in the conference with 14 touchdowns, five of which have gone to his favorite target, junior tight end Dylan Hargas. Hargas also ranks second in the PAC with 36 catches for 464 yards (5th). Defensively, Hiram is paced by freshman linebacker Kole Scott, who is currently third in the league with 58 total tackles (31 solo). Junior linebacker Darius Cofield-Washington has also made his presence known thanks to 10.5 tackles for loss (10 solo).
A SUPREMELY CELEBRATORY SATURDAY
The fans gathered at Charles A. Henry Field at Malmisur Stadium are in store for a fun Saturday afternoon. Not only is it Halloween, but Hiram is celebrating its homecoming and recognizing the latest additions to its hall of fame. The Terriers' last homecoming win came in 2023, when they won their only game of the season against Oberlin.
CAN YOU GIVE ME A JUMP?
Last year's Yellow Jacket offense experienced a welcome boost starting with its game against Hiram. After averaging just 16.5 points over its first two games, Waynesburg put up 35 against the Terriers and 45 the following week against Thiel. Both games resulted in Waynesburg wins. The Jackets come into Saturday's contest averaging 12.6 ppg and are looking for a similar spark.
