TRAFFORD, Pa. (Oct. 5) – Senior goalkeeper Zach Reed (Pittsbugh, Pa. / Seton LaSalle) put together two outstanding performances in net to lead Waynesburg to a pair of wins and the number-three spot in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) standings. For his efforts, Reed was lauded as the PAC Defensive Player, Goalkeeper of the Week.

Reed allowed just one goal over 180 minutes of work between the pipes for the Jackets (5-4-2, 3-2-1). He totaled 12 saves, including eight in Saturday's 1-0 shutout of Hiram. Reed also made four saves to help the Yellow Jackets to a 2-1 win over Washington & Jefferson, snapping a 13-game winless streak against the Presidents.
