WAYNESBURG, Pa. (March 15) – On Feb. 21, Waynesburg University freshman women's wrestler
Anastasia Curitti (Fernley, Nev. / Coral Academy of Science) joined sophomore teammate
Ja'Khia Matthews (Phoenix, Ariz. / Albermarle) as the first two regional medalists in program history. Curitti made even more history as she was recently honored by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) as the first Yellow Jacket to be named an NCAA Women's Scholar All-American.
Curitti currently boasts a 3.69 GPA and is a Health & Exercise Science major.
