WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. (March 28) – The Waynesburg University men's track & field team traveled to West Liberty University this weekend to compete in the Tim Weaver Invitational. Junior
Jacob Harker (Lilly, Pa. / Bishop Carroll) picked up yet another individual title in the shot put to lead the Yellow Jackets in the unscored meet.
Harker bested 31 other throwers with a top heave of 14.79 meters. He also placed seventh out of 35 competitors in the discus (38.83 meters) and eighth in the hammer throw (41.33 meters).
Waynesburg added another victory in the 4x400-meter relay. The quartet of sophomore
Logan Eberhardt (Massillon, Ohio / Tuslaw), freshman
Jack Hood (Washington, Pa. / Trinity), freshman
Jackson Sauders and sophomore
Nicky Todd (Homer City, Pa. / Homer Central) combined to break the tape in 3:44.41.
