JASMINE CLAGGETT MEMORIAL RESULTS
WAYNESBURG, Pa. (April 19) – The Waynesburg University men's track & field team competed in a pair of meets, both in the Mountaineer State. The Yellow Jackets traveled to Morgantown to participate in the Mountaineer Showcase hosted by West Virginia University on Friday. They followed that up with a trip to the Jasmine Claggett Memorial Invitational, which was hosted by West Virginia Wesleyan, on Saturday.
Waynesburg's efforts were highlighted by new school records being set by junior
Jacob Harker (Lilly, Pa. / Bishop Carroll) and sophomore
Ethan Wilson (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Redeemer Lutheran). Harker placed third in the 14-man hammer throw and first amongst all NCAA Division III competitors with a Waynesburg record distance of 42.42 meters. As if that wasn't enough for one day's work, Harker also won the 14-man shot put with a top heave of 15.31 meters and claimed gold in the discus by besting 13 other throwers with a distance of 40.77 meters.
Wilson took fourth in the 10-man mile and first amongst NCAA Division III competitors with a standout time of 4:05.76.

Kyle Casella (Clarksboro, N.J. / Kingsway) 2nd place – 58.36 seconds

On Saturday, a smaller group of Jacket athletes traveled to Buckhannon for the Claggett Invite.
With the regular season concluded, the Yellow Jacket men turn their attention to the 2026 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Outdoor Championships, which will be held in Morgantown. The two-day event gets underway on Thursday, April 30.
