TRAFFORD, Pa. (April 26) – The Waynesburg University softball team begins its run at the 2026 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) championship tournament on Thursday, April 30, against Hiram. Waynesburg is the fifth seed, Hiram will serve as the fourth seed and first pitch of "Game A" is scheduled for 10 a.m.
The winner of Game A will play again at 2 p.m. against top-seeded Westminster in "Game C." The loser will play in "Game F" at noon on Friday, May 1.
Waynesburg (26-14, 13-9), which was picked to finish fifth in the 2026 PAC preseason poll, and Hiram (14-18, 13-9), which was picked to finish seventh in the poll, split their regular season doubleheader, with the Jackets taking game one 5-3 and the Terriers winning game two 11-3 in six innings.
