Yellow Jackets take part in loaded field at Slippery Rock

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. (April 4) – The Waynesburg University men's track & field team traveled to Slippery Rock University this weekend to compete in a loaded field at the Dave Labor Invitational. There was no team scoring at the event.
 
The Yellow Jackets were led by juniors Kyle Casella (Clarksboro, N.J. / Kingsway) and Jacob Harker (Lilly, Pa. / Bishop Carroll).
 
Casella led the Jackets on the track by placing 15th in the 23-man 400-meter hurdles with a time of 58.78 seconds. Harker led all Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) competitors by placing 13th in the 56-man shot put with a heave of 14.80 meters. He also threw the discus (38.20 meters).

Ethan Wilson (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Redeemer Lutheran): 34th place – 2:02.60
 
Waynesburg is back in action on Saturday, April 11, when it competes in the Westminster Invitational.
