KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Aug. 7) – On Friday, United Soccer Coaches announced its College Team Academic Award winners, recognized for their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2025-26 academic year. The Waynesburg women received the honor for a fifth-straight year.
The Yellow Jackets put together a 3.64 GPA as a team in a year where they boasted 20 team members on the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Academic Honor Roll and six on the Collegiate Sports Communicators Academic All-District Teams. Rising senior

Reagan Mittendorf were also honored as PAC SAAC Scholar-Athletes of the Month. Mohrbacher went on to receive Scholar All-American laurels from United Soccer Coaches, while Mittendorff was tabbed as Waynesburg's female representative at the PAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year Banquet.
A total of 777 soccer teams (326 men, 451 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2025-26 academic year. Of that total, 175 schools, including Waynesburg, had both their men's and women's programs recognized.
