PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Sept. 5) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team traveled to the Steel City for a non-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game against La Roche on Saturday. The two squads battled to a 0-0 draw at the Baierl Athletic Complex.
Waynesburg (1-1-1) finished the match with five shots, including four on goal, and five corner kicks. Sophomore
Landon Stevenson (Butler, Pa. / Butler) logged two of those attempts, both of which were put on net.
Senior goalkeeper
Zach Reed (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Seton La Salle) logged three saves on the day to preserve the tie for the visitors.
Waynesburg returns home on Saturday, Sept. 12, to face off against Baldwin Wallace in a battle of the Yellow Jackets. Kickoff is set for 5 p.m.
