NEW CASTLE, Pa. (Apr. 13) – The Waynesburg women's golf team was represented by its two members at the M.L. Cleland Eckles Memorial Invitational held Monday at the New Castle Country Club.
Both Jamie Imhoff and Rachel Phillips competed at the invitational and shot 18-hole totals of 154 and 158, respectively, placing them 29th and 30th, respectively.
Washington & Jefferson's Alison Lazorchak took medalist honors by shooting an 86 and winning a tie-breaker with Vicki Bendus of Mercyhurst. The Lakers of Mercyhurst won the event with a team score of 356.
