WHEELING, W.Va. (April 9) – The Waynesburg University women's golf team competed at the Bison Spring Invitational at Oglebay Resort, where the Yellow Jackets tallied a four-woman score of 464.
 
Freshmen Avery Davis (Waynesburg, Pa. / Waynesburg Central) and Allison Wolling (Bethel Park, Pa. / Bethel Park) stayed neck-and-neck through the Invite, as the pair tied for fourth overall in the individual standings, with team-best scores of 101.
 
Freshman Emmarson Anderson (Beaver Falls, Pa. / Blackhawk) shot a 121 to place ninth. Freshman Leigha Clapper (Bellwood, Pa. / Bellwood-Antis) completed the scoring four for Waynesburg by turning in a score card of 141 to take 11th place.  
 
The Jacket women return to action on Saturday, April 11, at the Westminster Spring Invitational at the Avalon Field Club in New Castle, Pa.
