ELLWOOD CITY, Pa, - The Waynesburg University women's golf team competed at the Geneva Spring Opener at the Connoquenessing Country Club on Monday. A trio of Yellow Jackets competed as individuals.
 
Freshman Allison Wolling (Bethel Park, Pa. / Bethel Park) took second overall of the 10 golfers competing with a score of 98. Freshman Avery Davis (Waynesburg, Pa. / Waynesburg Central) took fifth with a 103, while freshman Emmarson Anderson (Beaver Falls, Pa. / Blackhawk) completed the Jacket trio with a 124.
 
Waynesburg is back in action on Thursday, April 9, when it travels to the Bethany Spring Invitational at Oglebay Park in Wheeling, W.Va.
