LATROBE, Pa. (Oct. 13) – The Waynesburg men's soccer team couldn't answer an early Saint Vincent goal as they dropped a 1-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game to the Bearcats on Wednesday.
Saint Vincent (3-10-2, 1-2) was able to slip the game's only goal past Waynesburg starting keeper Dan Buzzard four minutes into the start of the contest. Buzzard and senior keeper Ryan Hunsberger, who replaced the first-year starter at halftime, were able to keep the home team from building a multi-goal advantage. The two combined to make 10 saves on the day.
The Yellow Jackets (5-9-1, 0-4) are off until Wednesday, Oct. 20, when they travel to Grove City to face the Wolverines.
