WAYNESBURG, Pa. (April 29) – The Waynesburg University women's golf team hosted a rare dual match on Tuesday at the Greene County Country Club. The Yellow Jackets welcomed NAIA member Point Park University to town under cold, rainy conditions, and fell 434 to 344 against the Poineers.
The Jackets (0-1) were led by senior
Madison Presto, who carded a team-low total of 86, which also tied her for the second-lowest score of the day. Junior
Kelly Mehal (114), freshman
Paige Lane (116) and senior
Dana Della Loggia (118) rounded out the host team's scoring.
The Pioneers were paced by Caroline Collins, who carded a match-low total of 76. Karina Palmberg (86), Rilyn Gancia (88) and Emily Slifka (94) completed Point Park's scoring.
