WAYNESBURG, Pa. (May 23) – The Waynesburg University men's soccer team will be hosting a one-day ID clinic on Saturday, July 23. The full day of instruction is structured to be a unique experience that those attending the event will only receive at Waynesburg.
 
The camp is open to high school athletes heading into their junior or senior seasons and there will be a $60 fee for each participant. 
 
Everything gets going at 9 a.m. with a 20-minute check-in time. The first instructional session runs from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at John F. Wiley Stadium. After a half-hour lunch (12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.) at Waynesburg's Benedum Dining Hall, the clinic's focus will shift from the pitch to one of the classrooms in the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse from 12:45 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
 
Following the classroom session, all attendees will return to Wiley Stadium for the second and final instructional session of the day, which will run from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
 
In order to make the Waynesburg University men's soccer ID Clinic as effective as possible, there will be a limit on the number of participants accepted to the camp in order to maximize the attention given to each camper, who will be trained as collegiate players.
 
Speaking of the collegiate game, there will be a recruiting seminar detailing some of the finer points of college soccer and the recruiting process.
 
All participants are asked to either drive themselves or have a ride available to get them to and from John F. Wiley Stadium.
