MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (March 23) – The Waynesburg University women's outdoor track and field team competed at the Stan Romanoski Open at WVU on Saturday.

Ella Rishell (Montgomery County, MD / Watkins Mill) ran one of the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) top times in the 400 (1:04.32) this season. She finished 21st in a field of over 40 runners. Rishell was also the Jackets' top finisher in the 200 in 28.69.

Lilly Ryer (Indiana, Pa. / Marion Center) finished second in heat five of the 800 in 2:42.37.

Kara Yaukey (Knoxville, MD / Boyd J. Micheal III Technical High School) finished 12th in the pole vault after clearing 2.45 meters. Natalie Double (Portersville, Pa. / Slippery Rock) placed 14th in the javelin (30.64 meters).

The Jackets return to action at West Liberty's Tim Weaver Invitational next Saturday.
