WARREN, Ohio (Oct. 14) – The Waynesburg University men's golf team wrapped up its fall season by competing in the 36-hole Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Fall Championships, which were hosted by the Avalon Golf and Country Club. The Jackets placed seventh in the 10-team field with a four-man, 36-hole score of 641
The Jackets were led by senior
Matt Karpeal (Smithfield, Pa. / Albert Gallatin), who tied for eighth place out of 50 competitors after recording a two-day total of 152 (74-78). He was followed on the leader board by sophomore
Alan Tarolli (Washington, Pa. / Fort Cherry), who tied for 18
th place with a 158 (74-84).
Waynesburg's scoring four was completed by sophomore
Braden Benke (Waynesburg, Pa. / Waynesburg Central) and senior
Hudson Pincavitch (Waynesburg, Pa. / Waynesburg Central). Benke tied for 28
th with a 165 (81-84), while Pincavitch tied for 30
th place with a 166 (81-85).
Sophomore
Brady Donovan (Pittsburgh, Pa. / Brentwood) also competed for the Jackets and carded the 43
rd-place score of 170 (84-86).
Allegheny ended the 36 holes with a PAC-low 600. The results of the fall championships will be combined with scores for the PAC Spring Championships to determine a team champion.
