GROVE CITY, Pa. (April, 20) - The Waynesburg University men's golf team participated in the McBride-Behringer-Allen "MBA" Invitational held by Grove City at the Grove City Country Club. A trio of Jackets competed as individuals on Monday.

Waynesburg was led by senior
Matt Karpeal (Smithfield, Pa. / Albert Gallatin), who tied for 23rd overall in a field of 93 participants spanning across NCAA Division II and Division III. Karpeal fired a nine-over 81, which was highlighted by birdies on the seventh and 14th holes.

Sophomore
Alan Tarolli (Washington, Pa. / Fort Cherry) showcased a birdie at the sixth hole while firing the 46
th-place score of 85. Freshman
Dayton Reynolds (Carmichaels, Pa. / Carmichaels) took 93rd with a score of 109.

Marietta took home the team title with a four-man tally of 305, while golfers from Grove City and Washington & Jefferson finished in a three-way tie for the individual title with a 75.

Waynesburg returns to action on Friday, April 24, when it competes in the Presidents' Athletic Conference Spring Championships. The two-day event will be held at Mill Creek Golf Course in Boardman, Ohio.
