MEADVILLE, Pa. (Nov. 1) – The Waynesburg University women's cross country team traveled to the 2025 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Championships, which were hosted by Allegheny College on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets placed seventh in the team standings with 179 points.
Waynesburg saw two of its own earn second-team All-PAC laurels on the day. Senior
Grace Tanksley (Bedford, Ind. / Bedford North Lawrence) was the first Yellow Jacket to cross the finish line on the 6K course. Now a three-time All-PAC honoree, Tanskley placed ninth after crossing the finish line in 24:35.6. Freshman
Erin Belveal (Bay Village, Ohio / Bay) continued a fantastic first collegiate season by logging the number 13 mark of 25:01.7.
Freshman Alexis Hepburn was the next Jacket to complete the course, doing so with the 58
th-place time of 27:41.7. Classmate
Amber Sallee (Bentleyville, Pa. / Bentworth) posted the number 61 mark of 27:49.5.
The Jackets' scoring five was completed by sophomore
Taylor Severt (Howard, Ohio / East Knox) after she finished the race in 28:31.7.
Washington & Jefferson and Geneva shared the team title after both scoring 59 points.
The Jackets return to competition on Saturday, Nov. 15, when they travel to the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships in Newville, Pa.
