WAYNESBURG, Pa. (June 24) – The Collegiate Sports Communicators (CSC) released its annual Academic All-District® Women's Cross Country/Track & Field teams on Tuesday. Waynesburg University was well represented as five Yellow Jackets earned the accolade.

Taylor Severt (Howard, Ohio / East Knox) and recent graduate
Grace Tanksley (Bedford, Ind. / Bedford North Lawrence) all received the honor for their excellence on the track, in the throwing events and on the cross country course, as well as in the classroom.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Cross Country/Track & Field teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes cross country/track & field honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
