TRAFFORD, Pa. (Nov. 20) – The Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) released its annual all-conference football teams during a live stream produced by the PAC Sports Network on Thursday night. Seven Yellow Jackets earned a total of eight spots on this year's squads.
Waynesburg's honorees were led by junior running back
Carson Shriver (Fairview, W.Va. / Clay-Battelle), who earned second-team laurels after finishing his season ranked second in the conference in rushing yards per game (81.0) and first in total rushing yards (810). His nine rushing touchdowns were good for fifth in the league. He was also Waynesburg's fifth-leading receiver with 123 yards on 18 receptions.
Shriver was named PAC Offensive Player of the Week on Nov. 3 and was listed on the D3Football.com Team of the Week on Nov. 4.
A half-dozen Waynesburg players received honorable mention applause. That group includes senior offensive lineman
Isaiah Grenway (Jessup, Md. / Hammond), senior offensive lineman
Dalton Scruggs (Lusby, Md. / Patuxtent), sophomore defensive lineman
Isshak Adam (Carnegie, Pa. / Chartiers Valley), junior wide receiver
Tyler Richmond (Carmichaels, Pa. / Carmichaels) and junior defensive back
Joanes Polynice (Winter Garden, Fla. / West Orange).
Senior wide receiver
Isaac Trout (Ruffs Dale, Pa. / Southmoreland) was listed as both an honorable mention all-purpose player and return specialist. He was named PAC Special Teams Player of the Week on Nov. 3.
