YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (February 27) – Ella Rishell (Montgomery County, MD / Watkins Mill) scored in multiple events and set two indoor records to highlight the Waynesburg University women's indoor track & field team at the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Indoor Championships at the Youngstown State University's Watson and Tressel Training Site on Thursday.

Waynesburg, who was picked 10th of 11 teams in the PAC pre-championship coaches' poll, tied for eighth with Washington & Jefferson with a team score of 19. Grove City took home the overall team title with 148 points.

Rishell set Waynesburg's modern indoor records in the 200 and 400, scoring in both events. She finished fourth in the 400 in 1:00.61 to reset her own team record. Rishell clocked in at 26.76 in the 200 to break Michaela Rose's mark of 26.87 set in 2023 to finish fifth at PACs.

JaLisa Fuller (Latrice, Ind. / Lawrence Central) joined Rishell as a scorer and a top-10 time in team history in the 400. She finished sixth in 1:03.21, the sixth-fastest indoor time in program history.

Maggie Clair (Canonsburg, Pa. / Canon McMillan) scored in the shot put with a fifth-place showing. She launched a personal record distance of 11.57 meters, good for fourth in program history.

Waynesburg's distance medley relay unit of Lilly Ryer (Indiana, Pa. / Marion Center), Fuller, Ella Boothe (Fredericktown, Pa. / Bethlehem Center) and Grace Tanksley (Bedford, Ind. / Bedford North Lawrence) placed seventh in 13:53.40. The Jackets' 4x400 relay group of Chloe Fields (Linesville, Pa. / Conneaut), Addison Blair (Waynesburg, Pa / Waynesburg Central), Madison Bidniuk (Chambersburg, Pa. / Chambersburg Area) and Kaylee Ayers was eighth in 5:25.20.

The Jackets are back in action at Ohio Northern's final qualifier on March 8.
