GROVE CITY, Pa. (Sept. 29) – The Waynesburg University men's golf team traveled to Grove City Country Club on Monday to compete in the Grove City Fall Invitational. Waynesburg tied for sixth place out of 16 teams after posting a four-man score of 308.
Waynesburg was led by senior
Matt Karpeal (Smithfield, Pa. / Albert Gallatin), who tied for eighth place out of 97 competitors with a one-over 73. Sophomore
Alan Tarolli (Washington, Pa. / Fort Cherry) tied for 16
th place with a score of 75, while Junior
Hudson Pincavitch (Waynesburg, Pa. / Waynesburg Central) ended with a 76, which tied him for 20
th place.
The Jackets' scoring four was completed by sophomore
Braden Benke (Waynesburg, Pa. / Waynesburg Central), who carded a 12-over 84, which landed him in a tie for 67
th place.

Nate Barnhart (Washington, Pa. / Trinity) and freshman

The Yellow Jackets return to the course on Monday, Oct. 6, for the Waynesburg Fall Invitational at Nemacolin Country Club. Tee time is scheduled for 1 p.m.
